Like what do you think Allurance dates would look like? What kind of couple adventure would they have? I feel like there's so little discussion of how these two would actually interact after becoming a couple (which at this point I think is basically inevitable? They've had a very solid development and i don't think you can argue with their mutual feelings at all) So, to sum up, what do you see for Allurance, both headcanons and predictions, as an established couple?

aww, thanks for the compliment! there are very few allurance shippers, so we don’t have much content. i usually exclusively write meta, but i wrote some fics and commissioned some fanart because i wanted to provide more content for the ship.

as for how they’d act as an established couple...

i’m pretty sure that allura (and, eventually, the new alteans) will make earth her new home. allura will visit the alteans often, but she’ll usually be around cuba or arizona alongside lance, who wants to be near his (and now allura’s!) family.

allura got over the “blushing at everything” phase quicker than lance did. he’s still kind of amazed that this is even happening. (god help him when they get married and he gets to watch her walk down the aisle.)

the first time allura used a pickup line on him, he actually fell over.

their dates are more fun than romantic. they were best friends who had fun together before this, so why change that? they’d go on adventures like combing the beach for cool rocks/shells, buying garlic knots from every shack on the beach to figure out which is the best, going to amusement parks, visiting gardens and buying new flowers, having a competition between lance and the mice to see which of them is a better hairdresser (remember when she let the mice play with her hair in s2? like that!), playing video games with each other (not just 2-player ones; sometimes they alternate in controlling the protagonist during games like LoZ, and they usually enjoy that more actually).

they sleep together like this.

around the team, they don’t really engage in PDA, but they do get ridiculously close to each other when it’s not necessary, such as leaning into each other whenever they’re sitting. sometimes the team teases them, but usually, they just smirk and let it go.

keith was either the first or last to know, and he’s mostly indifferent. pidge and hunk are honestly shocked and are the most eager to tease them. shiro is very supportive and tells them to cherish each other and always say, “stay safe" and “i love you” when they’re going somewhere dangerous, because you don’t want to have any regrets, right? coran and veronica think they’re perfect together and are always Plotting. coran in particular gets very emotional, because he’d worried that allura would always feel alone in a way even with coran, but now she has him, lance, the team, and lance’s family.

allura had dreamed of this grand Romance, dancing together at balls and giving each other extravagant gifts and saying silly dramatic phrases and just--princess and prince stuff, y’know? but with lance, she’s perfectly happy to do simple things with him instead. it feels so sincere and intimate, far more than she’d ever dreamed.

neither of them cope well with feeling helpless. sometimes one of them just needs to be alone/work through something themselves/get help from someone else, etc. but the other usually gets anxious about it. they’re so protective of one another and it drives them up a wall to watch the other suffer without having a way to fix it.

whenever they’re having an argument, they actually manage to resolve it quickly. while lance is more inclined to engage in distractions than directly address the problem, allura can easily start an open conversation with him.

allura isn’t thrilled about interacting with children, but she does enjoy spending time with lance’s niece and nephew, as well as the rest of his family.

lance is terrible at subtlety. “y’know, when ariel and eric were in the boat together, they--” “lance, are you asking me to kiss you?” “maybe.”

veronica declares keith her enemy while keith is just ??????????????????

if he was aware, and was specifically trying to avoid them, but kept running into them anyway...poor guy, lmao. “carry on with...whatever wonderful thing you’re doing...but also, wait until i’m gone, because ew.” 

basically, keith figuring out first or last are both hilarious options and i hope we see something like that in canon.

things i want to see: 

lance being the one to go on a dangerous mission with no contact for an extended period of time.

allura’s like cool cool cool cool cool good luck i believe in you!!!!! 

10 minutes later, she’s driving everyone up a wall asking stupid technical questions about the mission and unrelated bullshit that she isn’t even paying attention to. “are we sure about the angle of--” “you just asked me that, i said yes.” “oh... well what about the--” 

10 minutes after that, the mice have been assigned to do her hair so she leaves them alone dear god. 

lance thinks her hair looks very nice.

picture this: completely defying the conditions set by canon both for entering oriande and seeing the white lion i know but work with me here, imagine lance had somehow managed to follow allura into oriande because he was Worried. since he’s not even altean let alone Chosen, the lion would be inclined to just ignore him, like, why bother testing him, the lion ain’t gonna tell him shit anyway.

but now picture this: lance somehow managing to semi-befriend this white lion, rambling to it about how amazing allura is, and how worried he is about her right now, all while petting it and complimenting its beautiful fur. (”what kind of conditioner do you use HAH aren’t i hilarious? no?? maybe??” “i’d offer to knit you a sweater but you gotta show off this fur so.”)

when lance and allura finally reunite, allura’s just like OMG LANCE ARE YOU OKAY HOW DID YOU EVEN GET HERE DID THE LION ATTACK YOU??

and lance is like, “nah me and the white lion are buds now i think?? idk he’s kinda hard to get a read on tbh but he’s Very Soft. did you get to pet him too?”

allurance concept: the dnd episode is actually lance’s fever dream. at the end of it, allura kisses him. months later, allura actually kisses him, and he subtly tries to test his own temperature to make sure it’s real this time. (it’s science, allura, don’t worry about it.)

lance and allura relaxing on the couch together, each listening to their respective music on their headphones, occasionally switching just for a laugh at the contrast in styles

in a future in which they share a bedroom: when lance finally wakes up and peels off his eye mask, he’s greeted by the sight of allura (and the mice, who have no sense of rhythm and just copy allura) dancing to the music that he can’t hear

allura getting very uhhhh flustered when she realizes how flexible lance is during their yoga sessions

allura flopping on top of lance when he’s lying on the couch (putting the literal pressure on him so she can take the pressure off herself), humming as he pets her hair and talks about some nonsensical earth thing
