Drifting.
He’s been doing that for a while. He wants to fight, to do something, anything to try and ensure his own survival, but he’s just... out. Out of energy, out of luck, out of will. He’s been running. Surviving. Dodging capture. He knows he can’t fix anything. He doesn’t have the power base he used to have. He doesn’t have access to the Alteans any longer. He’s fairly certain Haggar has gotten to them. There’s no way she passed up on such an opportunity after her pet was revealed.
It’s all his fault. As usual. But he universe is striving on, somehow. Still, reparations need to be made. There’s no order now. Everything is chaos. Nobody is safe.
All he’d wanted was peace, and now the universe was in turmoil.
Eventually, something he’s come to call a “cosmic nudge” bumps his ship and he blinks at the screen, watching the sudden change of scenery, and then shrieks as he realizes he’s crashing through the atmosphere of some planet. Fuck. The scans say it’s mostly water. Quiznak.
He braces for impact, for death, but somehow, he hits a large swatch of land instead of water. Dry land. There’s buildings nearby. He’s jarred, but relatively unhurt. The harness buckle is stuck, though. Unfortunate.
There’s no way his entry went unnoticed, and he’s not sure the air is breathable. He’s not sure he’s able to tell the computer to run scans, either. He hasn’t talked in years... He’s almost afraid to hear his own voice.
Seeing the convoy in the distance as it races towards him, he takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out, trying to think of what he could say. Or do. He wants to stay alive. Maybe. But what does he say?
As his ship is pried open, he get a good look at one of the people who’s here to take him in, his eyes widen, mouth goes slack with shock.
“Allura?” he whispers, and then faints.
