In this AU, Keith and Lance are both pretty popular youtubers - Keith has recently discovered Lance’s channel (and discovered they live in the same city) and he is taking Shiro’s advice and is working up his nerves to suggest a collab with this boy he is pretty sure doesn’t know he exists - what he doesn’t know is Lance has actually been a long-time subscriber of his and knows full well who Keith is.
Keith’s channel is full of really random videos ranging from knife tricks to cryptid hunting to sharing conspiracy theories with Shiro (who’s completely Done). He doesn’t have a schedule for when he updates and his editing is super shitty - Lance genuinely doesn’t know why Keith has more followers than him.
Lance on the other hand has two channels - one for vlogs of things he’d done over the past week (usually featuring Hunk)/him telling stories and one channel for beauty and makeup tutorials. Unlike Keith he uploads constantly and on time and he does a lot better job editing.
