Feeling helpless, overwhelmed, or scared about American politics (read: our fascism situation)?
PLEASE share this!! And/or dive in for 10 minutes of skimming. Hopefully the digestible and interactive format will be motivating.
If it is, pencil in some time to complete one or more of the activities (if nothing else, I suggest completing the 'Redlines Planning' section. It's also nice to do it with friends, or send to family members).
If you're looking for more, or people to do this with, I suggest joining your local Indivisible, or other activist group. I've found that Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ/SURF) is extremely well organized and effective! It's an org to gather white people to fight for racial justice, but they're always well-connected to other groups & esp bipoc-led ones, so a good starting point for anyone inquiring abt active & effective local groups. Sunrise Movement is a newer org that's for folks under 35! Some activist groups are less organized/effective/don't utilize ur time well, but the three I've mentioned have good national structure so are often better run. Don't be afraid to flirt around w/ different groups!)
