2014 White Rock Railing: The dog gates 🐕... There were three gates made to keep the dog out of certain areas of the house. It was kind of a tricky thing because of the shape of all the mouldings everywhere and they specifically requested that there be no threshold to walk over, and no holes in the tiles either. Since these gates are not security gates, but to keep a small dog out of the kitchen, it seemed reasonable to design the latching system to only connect up through the top center of the gate. The one side of the frame of the gate is tubing, the rest is solid steel. There is a small latching system that slides up and down inside it. Also, there had to be an offset frame around the gate so that the doors could be opened fully with out touching the crown mouldings on the ceiling.
