ホントに。かつてアルマな彼女が2014年に 「HEART MELTER」って曲でデビューしたときに たくさんのポップ系音楽ブログが「寄ってたかって」 「一斉に」「こぞって」「残らずそろって」「ことごとく」 彼女をドバ～っと掲載して、「彼女こそがこれからのポップだぞ！」と 意気揚々に絶賛していた。のをボクは憶えている。

たくさんアップされてた、 当時は。あの頃は。

なんでだろう、なんでだろう、 それからがさっぱりだった。

その前評判のわりにぜんぜん人気がでなかった。 ２年たって、このフランス、パリ出身の女性の ことをみなさん忘れかけているかもしれません。

ひょっとしたら、 すっかり忘れているかもしれません。

Alma Elste - Virtualism

While Alma Elste released her debut track last fall (really wish I could get those 2 months of non-blogging back) I did not come across her until a couple of weeks ago while checking out a new label out of London I am becoming quite fond of called Hand In Hive. They just dropped her second single earlier today, the futuristically cinematic, 'Virtualism'. Balancing the line between electro pop and an almost industrial sound, the track is nostalgic at heart, but fierce in nature with a pounding combination of synths and drums that is an absolute experience from start to finish. Stream below or pick up a digital copy on iTunes.

Alma Elste - Limitless

With only two releases under her belt, rising Parisienne talent Alma Elste has already shown a lot of promise. The singer / songwriter / producer who is also a full time college student, working towards her degree in Philosophy, has managed to find time between her studies to release another brilliant tune titled 'Limitless'. Alma will also be playing Servant Jazz Quarters in London on Feb 29th, it is her debut headlining performance (tickets here).
