Random insect on the sidewalk today. I don’t think I’ve ever seen on quite like this guy. It was about the size of my thumb. 

It looks to be a Polyphylla decemlineata, aka Ten-lined June beetle. I’ve never see one with the white lines like this in Oregon before.

I was thinking about getting a foam roller because I cant get enough pressure on my hips. Would this reach those areas?

In my personal experience, I’ve only been able to get it as far up as my inner thigh goes. That’s not to say that it can’t work on hips, but I haven’t found the correct way to hit that spot with the R8 (if there is any correct way to do it). I am still keeping my Stick around for those harder to reach places that the R8 can’t get to...
