Different
I live a much different life from others around me. I’m just too different from people that I cannot relate or be open to them. It’s brought to remembrance how I grew up not knowing how to be social, how to actually tell a story about this or that situation that the other person can relate to. I went to a Christian private school with fewer than ten other children. I had very little experience with other youth prior to my fourth grade. Sure I went to Redwood Christian Camp twice with two hundred other young people as a teenager. I have 2-3 close friends right now. Yet, I’m still not as social as I wish I was. I had little to no training in the art of socializing. I’m just so different. And I hate how I can’t relate to people, or just feel afraid. I’m so afraid of looking bad, saying the wrong thing, hurting someone and losing them. I am just so different.
