Hello, it’s my birthday! I got you this fic!

The working title for this story was "barclay is sick" but on Twitter I kept calling it "Indrid is Horrified to Discover He is a Person." It is a little about balancing duty and love, but largely about Indrid being super easy for Barclay when he's sick and needy. Guest appearances by other Amnesty NPCs and Aubrey, title via Dar Williams.

This one went in unexpected directions--I wasn’t sure about writing from Indrid’s PoV in a longer thing I’m theoretically working on, so I did this as a test run and, surprise, it was way easier than I thought!
