I heard a quote this week that really stuck with me “You are the sky and everything else is the weather”

It’s hard to watch others struggle but if they don’t want your help, you can’t take on their burden. It’s their choice.

5 days until vacation and 7 days until my flight. This is going to be the creative reset I desperately need. Right? Anyone? LOL

Sunday Thoughts on a Tuesday

Sometimes sushi with your best friend is literally the best thing in the entire world. Sushi “pizza” is so good

Apparently my ‘comfort’ movies are concerning… but they’re certainly on brand 😂

Reference books that inspire creativity don’t count as spending money, right?

Very thankful to someone who is helping me in more ways than they know 🐝

It’s cheesy but sometimes you have to buy yourself the flowers cause ain’t no one else going to

Less than 2 weeks until vacation and I’m so excited

Reminding yourself that you’re allowed to be who you are is hard to do but is also an important thing to do

Last 3 days of work and then I’m officially on summer vacation!! 

I think I’ll take these 2 weeks as an opportunity to be off social media. I’m going for a week to Spain so I won’t bring my laptop or phone with me. I’m looking forward to it but I also know it will be a bit weird in the early days. It always takes some adjusting, having no laptop or phone. 

I will bring my ereader with me and I’ve uploaded it with all the books and fanfics on my To Read List. I wonder how many I will be able to read during my two weeks off. 

Also, I’m really looking forward to not be home and not have to deal with my obnoxious and irritating neighbour. He’ll be free to play loud music all day every day for the next two weeks and I won’t know because I won’t be here to hear it.

Nothing beats the feeling of having your students’ grades posted so you can go on vacation without Teaching hanging over your head... admittedly, it’s not really vacation but a program that I need for my own studies, but I will still be happily exploring another city in between classes!
