Oh hey

So the internet at my host families house isn't the greatest, hence the non-tumblr presence as of late. Alas, I did what any other English major/Internet loser/New Aupair does-Started a blog. I update it semi-frequently and hope it will turn into something somewhat ok.

So fellow Aupairs or Aupair wannabes, hop on over and send any ask or questions or hey-I'm-near-Duesseldorf-let's-hang-out's my way, ok?!

So I suck

I seemed to have started this blog and promptly forgot about it.

My bad.

But as a quick catch up, I am currently trying to get an aupair gig in Germany. For those unaware, being an aupair means moving overseas and in with a foreign family. They provide room and board and you provide care for their kids. If you find the perfect place and perfect family for you, it seems like a pretty decent way to spend a year. 

I'm still attempting to do my "see a new place very 6 months" thing. Last place I went was Michigan in August so I've got until February it seems.

Until then, I will work on keeping this blog up and hopefully connecting with some fun, travel loving followers as well.
