#Repost @dorimidnight (@get_repost) ・・・ New moon/Sivan/nakba day notes to self: Listen to and follow the lead of Palestinian activists. Honor the call for Boycott divestment and Sanctions. Watch @ummnayoush lay it all out on cbs. Educate yourself on the #nakba. Show up at local actions this week (check @jewishvoiceforpeace For updates). Let your grief and rage move you. Breathe. Watch young Palestinians dance Dabke and celebrate beautiful resistance. Do not let Zionism define our Judaism. Do not stop singing chanting mourning praying. Follow @jewishvoiceforpeace. Donate if you’re able. Call senators and reps. Investigate if local police force is sending officers to be trained in Israel and learn about the #deadlyexchange campaign. Gather with loved ones. Do not look away. Grieve. Show up. #saytheirnames. Imagine a Judaism beyond zionism, beyond racism, full of diasporic Magic and wisdom, that centers jews of color and sephardi and mizrahi jews. #Repost @dorimidnight (@get_repost) ・・・ I find myself in tears off and on all day today at the reports coming out of Gaza. It is not a “clash” or “a situation in the Middle East”. Israel’s violence against Palestinians is settler colonialism at its worst, supported by US dollars, the Trump administration, antisemites, white nationalists, and American mainstream Jewish communities who remain silent. Today alone, 43 people have been killed, 2200 injured at a he Gaza border by the Israeli military. Tomorrow is Nakba Day, the day Palestinians commemorate the massacres and mass expulsions that created the settler state of Israel in 1948. It is also the first day of Ramadan, the new moon, the beginning of the Jewish month of Sivan, and, not coincidentally the day the US moves the embassy to Jerusalem- a move so cruel and violent towards Palestinians, and celebrated by zionists. Palestine, Gaza, we are with you. #gazawillbefree #jewsforfreepalestine #alnakba

The 68th anniversary of the Nakba, where we remember the 700,000 Palestinians, who were driven either by fear or force, from their homes. Today, millions are waiting for the right to return. Thanks @emilybrennannn ~~ you're incredibly talented #alnakba #quds #domeoftherock #palestine #handala (at East Jerusalem)
For those of you who are unaware, the 15th of May marked the 67th year of Israel's occupation of Palestine, called Al-Nakba. 67 years ago, Israel claimed my homeland, Palestine as their own, they forced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians out of their homes, to which many still have not returned. Since their occupation, they have been continuously murdering innocent Palestinians in the name of self defence. And unfortunately their lies have brainwashed many, as the world seems indifferent to the cries of the Palestinian people. However, no amount of time can erase the past. Palestine belongs to the Palestinians and we will keep resisting until it is freed from the hands of the Zionists. No amount of time will make us forget the children you have killed, no amount of time will make us surrender. No amount of time will make us forget.
Al-Nakba
We remember the struggle of our beautiful brothers, sisters & elders of Palestine. The land mentioned by name in His glorious book; its inhabitants strong, brave and courageous.
