Every day I wake up sober is the longest stretch I've had in 10 years. I still wrestle with the urge to drink from time to time.

But the hard days are becoming easier. That is not to say that I still don't take it just one day at a time

Since my father is an alcoholic I'm afraid I'll become one myself but on the other side I can't just avoid alcohol because it makes me so happy
