MEDIEVAL SKINWALKER SPOTTED When I first spotted this guy I filed him under "miscellaneous creatures". I wasn't planning to give him his own post. Then I read Willene B. Clark's translation of this Bestiary from around 1175 and realized that this is some kind of Indian skinwalker type situation with the hind legs of a deer, chest of a lion, and head of a horse except that its mouth goes to its ears and is full of teeth and it emulates human speech. So anyway, here, have some new nightmares with me.
