1)  What is your OTP?

I think that Demestrap is just the most precious thing in the world!  Munkustrap is so protective of his golden queen, and I think it’s very poetic how Demeter leaves one brother for the other.  (Since I also like the headcanon that Macavity is also one of Old Deut’s sons).

2)  What are your secondary OTPs?

I love how the 2016 revival redid the choreography to give Victoria and Plato much more bonding time together, so I think that’s such a cute ship!  Like your first crush in high school.  I’m also very partial to Alossandra--they’re both bad bitches who know they’re better than everyone else.  Keeping the high school analogy, they remind me of the popular jock and cheerleader who become prom king and queen.

17) Top characters you feel need more love?

Griddlebone!  Her song has some...unfortunate baggage attatched to it, but I don’t think that she should be diminished because of it.  She’s an elegant prima donna who’s smarter than people give her credit for!

Of course, I must also give props to her marvelous actress, Jellylorum!  She has the range darling!

Demelurina:

Let’s!!  Go!!  Lesbians!!  HAve you SEEN the way Demeter always runs to Bomba for comfort??  Or the way Bomba anticipates this and goes to her first??  Bomba loves her gf so much!!

Bomba’s confidence is such a great contrast for Demeter’s skittishness!  She really helps Deme come out of her shell and be more sure of herself!!  

I’m gonna start mixing in a lil headcanon her.  I imagine that Bombalurina was the first cat that Demeter met after running away from Macavity.  She was scared and alone and starving--and Bombalurina was so kind to her.  She brought Deme back to the tribe and was a key factor in her recovery.  They became inseparable almost immediately!  

Rumplecetera:

Not much to say here, I’m afraid; I don’t feel very strongly about it.

I think that they’d be such a chaotic couple, though!  Neither of them have any impulse control or sense of self-preservation to speak of.

They really build on each other’s energy!!  You thought ONE dumbass with nothing to lose was hard enough to handle??  These two getting together has resulted in Munkustrap’s worst migraines.  

Coricojerrie:

I am so sorry but this is one of the few ship’s that I’m not particularly fond of.  Don’t get me wrong!!  I see the appeal and I think it’s really fun, I just headcanon Jerrie as Aro super duper hard so I don’t really ship him with anyone.  That being said, I do think that they have a very close friendship!

But we are here to talk about ships!  And so I shall do that!

Coricopat is incredibly prone to bouts of dumbassery.  He’s very easily impressed and excited about things, which he’s a little embarrassed about, because he’s trying to maintain a dignified and mystical reputation (like Tantomile).

Mungojerrie really helps him embrace that side of himself--Jerrie probably takes Coricopat on zany adventures.  Cori is probably a great lookout due to his uncanny sixth-sense, so Jerrie and Teazer love bringing him along on break-ins!

Cue Jerrie trying so hard to impress Cori (again, it isn’t hard, but he’s still so pleased with himself every time Cori gets wowed) and Teazer making fun of him relentlessly. 

Alossandra:

Oh this is one of my favorites!  I’m warming up a lot more to Alonzostrap right now, but thESE TWO ARE SO CUTE!

Alonzo thinks quite highly of himself, and honestly?  He has good reason too.  He’s intelligent, eloquent, and super handsome.  He’s haughty and arrogant, but in a far more refined manner than Tugger.  

Cassandra is perceptive and incredibly clever, and more than anything, she likes to screw with people.  Her brand of humor is very deadpan and sarcastic, so nobody ever knows if she’s serious.  She’s a wild card, honestly.

She leaves Alonzo speechless.  She’s constantly throwing him off his game with her uncanny wit.  He’s out here trying to be smooth and suave, and not only does Cassandra fail to swoon and throw herself at him, but she says the wildest shit that completely throws him off his game?

(“Cassandra, your eyes are like the stars--”

“So distant that we cannot see that they are already dead?  Thanks, I thought so too.”

Mistojerrie 

Aw, this is another fun one!  Unfortuntely, I’m afraid that I don’t really have a lot to say here.  As I said before, I’m not really into any ships involving Jerrie  😅

I think that these two who have a LOT of fun wrecking havoc and playing tricks!  With Jerrie’s mastermind plotting and Misto’s sparkly powers combined, the sheer chaos of their antics are something to behold.
