Atem was anxious being out of the home for too long. But they needed their supplies and food for the coming heat week, knowing Yugi wouldn’t be able to safely leave the home for that entire time. He knew his heat would be any time now, which is what made him rush his errands. Hopefully he didn’t forget anything on the way back.

As he came back into the Game Shop, he sniffed around. Oh, he could smell it. Damn it. He had been gone for most of the day and his Omega’s heat had started. Quickly he made his way upstairs, dropping the bags into the kitchen before pushing into Yugi’s. He was of course, immediately assaulted y his mate’s rich sweet scent, forming a reaction in him immediately.

“I am here, kitten.” he announced as he pulled off his jacket, draping it over him. “Lay back.”

Like c'mon people. Yugi is such a perfect and adorable Omega and Yami/Atem is such a great Alpha for him. They are such good material for it and yet I see no fanfics or headcanons about it :( can’t we just discuss about this possibility?

From the scent alone he knew that his Alpha was home as soon as the door opened. He hoped that Atem had brought home some food for Yugi’s heat week that was supposed to be starting soon. He curled up against his alpha with a churr and a peck on the cheek in response to Atem’s grumbling. Yugi was also nude, but that never mattered when it was just himself and Atem.

“Got the heat week food and water?” He asked groggily.

His Omega is overjoyed with the new nest in the house. Yugi could never sleep in beds well, so it got replaced with a comfortable 'nest' filled with blankets and pillows. He looks so content snoozing in the nest with a dreamy smile on his face.

Atem had tried what he could to make Yugi comfortable. While Atem had been told all of his life how to court and nest with an Omega, he still struggled with getting things right once Yugi did move in with him. But it seemed after multiple attempts, the old fashioned nest was the way to go.

Atem returned home, locking and closing the front door and windows all around the house. He didn't want any alphas getting the wrong idea when Yugi finally did start his heat. He tended to have a rather strong scent, and that lead to Atem being rather protective of him.

Finally in their room, he removed his clothing, tossing them on top of the Omega before crawling in next to him with a tired grumble.

He's suddenly found himself in a very strange predicament, the poor boy. He's laying across the Pharaoh's throne in nothing but a thin sheet. A ruby blush spreads across his cheeks, and he looks away. Timid, yet quiet movements bring the sheet closer to his body as he refuses to see what is directly in front of him. Knowing what was going to happen next. (Heba)

A quiet chuckle as the younger one awoke. His focus would eventually fall upon the Pharaoh standing in front of him, looking rather proud of himself. “Good morning, Heba,” he spoke in a velvety tone. He only had on his dress from the waist down, aside from his usual jewlery adornments. It took everything in his power for Atem to not attack Heba now, what with how vulnerable he was, and the sweet smell he let off.

“Sleep well? I would hope you did... Mana worked hard on that spell.” His smirk widened.
