I feel like I can’t stress enough how protective Takeru’s siblings are of him. He’s the baby of the family and you’re damn right they all mistrust Riku.

They spend easily 90% of their time courting just making all 18 of Takeru’s sibs not hate Riku

Haru(the eldest) is easily won over when Riku showed amazing self-control in the face of Takeru’s heat

Did I mention Takeru building up an immunity to his suppressants and goes into heat during practice because that’s a thing that happens

Riku wants kids. Takeru says no. Riku respects that decision.

Riku’s mom loves Takeru. She’s definitely the kind of mom who ships her children. 

 Once they start courting (in their third year, thanks Takeru’s traditional upbringing), they are the most grossly affectionate couple in the entire school, counting when Heath and Hozumi were still there.
