For Women Empowerment Month, we reached out to all our classes and asked for them to share messages about which women in their lives empower them. From our Charters to our Iota Class, so many sisters spoke on who in their life empowered them and shaped them to who they are today.
After a long delay from being swamped with life, I’ve finally got a moment to share my weekend in Vegas!
I made a five & something-minute flight out back home to Vegas for a week full of Sisterhood & catching up with family & friends. It’s Alpha Phi Gamma’s 20th Anniversary and our annual conference was being held in Vegas for the first time; there was absolutely no way that I was going to miss it. It had been awhile since I was able to attend a sorority event and I was excited to reunite with everyone!
The first thing I do once I land in Vegas? Dayclubbing at Daylight!
After a few hours at the pool, it was time to get ready for dinner that night. The dress I wore is by Zac Posen and was an absolute steal when I purchased it.. no really, you won’t even believe how much it cost especially since the tag was marked at over $300! Now if only I could continue finding deals & steals like that every day..
I was able to catch up with Sisters from all over during dinner & it was so great to be able to spend time with them that night! Congratulations to my chapter for winning Battle of The Sisters! I’ve haven’t felt that much pride and school spirit since I was in school!
My week in Vegas was just filled with friends and family, making the most of the short time I had back in town! Here’s a few pictures from my trip back home!

I really like the sorority. Like, I seriously hope that my interview next Saturday goes well and that I cross over and become part of their Delta chapter.
I've already made some new friends and I've only met them on Monday. They're so nice and accepting and I didn't have a feeling that any one of them were judging me when I said/showed that I didn't know how to roller skate while almost everyone else did tonight. A few of them even helped me to get around the rink by letting me hold on to their hand or link my arm with theirs. Even when they knew that they can go really fast themselves, they took the time to help my slow butt around. It was really nice. They treated me like I was already part of the sorority.
Like I said, I really hope that my interview goes well and that I cross over. That would be such a nice help with my self-consciousness and hopefully boost my low self esteem.
Graduating Greek Challenge - Day Nine;
MGC. They're a good group and I wish I got more involved with the events they had, but they were all super supportive in everything we did and we supported them back. MGC is HUUUUGE on support - it's crazy. Unfortunately though the only time I see them is probates or new member presentations. I never really got involved with MGC though so I don't really have any memories with them. But! I love when we all just start strolling and reppin' hard - it's amazingggg.
