Pups
Pups are either alphas or omegas from foetus to 17 years old. They can be referred to as a specific on Alpha pup or Omega pup. Pups are born either an omega or an alpha but don’t reach maturity or have their first heat or rut till the age of 18.
Pup Sounds
After infancy, when they can just cry, a pup can make a series of yip like noises separate from regular baby babble. These noises signal to parents or family members how the pup is feeling for example if they are uncomfortable, they will have a yip that sounds vastly different than the one they make when they are elated and wildly happy. Each pup has their own unique noises, though siblings typically end up sounding alike.
Pup Nests
A pup’s nest is typically a mess of random soft objects that they have demanded their parent scent. The skill in making a nest develops over time until maturity where they will make a proper den if there an alpha or a proper nest if there an omega.
Nests for pups are a safe cozy place for naps or to go when there upset and overwhelmed. Though, they typically go to their parents for comfort or even go to the omega parent’s nest. Sometimes that isn’t an option or if they are in trouble with there parent’s the nest is where they will go. They also make a beeline for the nest when they are sick.
