First/Last Lines & Writing Woes

Many, many moons ago (okay, it was around month and a half) I got tagged by @cacodaemonia @petrifiedforests @loverboy-havocboy @silverxsakura AND @marbled-polecat within two weeks from each other.

Sadly, it was the tail (lol) end of Mermay, so wasn't really writing anything new. Then I finished Mermay and. My. Inspiration. Died.

Had no energy & no will to write anything. June was spent recuperating from MerMay and packing because I moved during the first weekend of July and I'm still very much in the "put the things in the right places" mode because of fucking carpet beetles while I pretty much spent the second week of July cleaning my old apartment.

Finally, last Sunday I got the internet running and rigged my PC because I needed and I quote @seascribbling here, "a load bearing mental health scroll".

So, since Sunday I've been revising/writing The Random Alpha Appearance fic and started the last remaining Dice Kiss prompts.

So here's a few lines from what I've written/revised today!

First, Dice Kiss:

17 couldn’t help but snort as he watched Fordo walk calmly through the rain, unbothered by gale force winds that had the heavy kama snapping in the air as flashes of lightning went off behind him. And he thought Kenobi was dramatic.

Second, The Random Alpha Appearance

The beta shuddered, toes curling as [Redacted] started moving, rolling his hips in an unhurried pace as the alpha crooned soft words of praise into Rex’s ear.

TL;DR Mermay & RL kicked my butt, but now I'm back in the game!

Alpha-17: “That’s game cadets, who’s up next?”

Random little cadet: “What does ‘thats game’ mean?”

Alpha-17: “Well, it’s a sports term. Like slam dunk or ball handler.”

Captain Fordo: *Bursts through door* “You called?”

Alpha-17: “Get the hell off my training deck right now-“

I had the terrible idea to attempt this project to post a clone every day for a month. I have no idea if I'll succeed, but I'll do my best!
