Day 12- Goodnight Kisses
Jango & The Alpha Batch
Each day this month I have a 100 word drabble featuring a different clone with a kiss prompt. Not all are romantic and they include all sorts of pairings and relationships. Feel free to offer pairing/ character suggestions for future days.
Become the Clone template they said. We’ll pay you fortunes beyond your dreams they said. You’ll get to train the best army in the galaxy they said. Well now Jango was standing at the head of a line of 100 children dressed in their pajamas, many of them holding plushies as they each stepped forward to get their goodnight kiss pressed gently into their forehead.
“Goodnight Maze, Goodnight 84, Goodnight Spar, Goodnight 99, Goodnight Spar- wait, brat go to bed! You already got your kiss. 17 no, don’t… Ugh.” Jango grumbled as 17 started brawling with Spar on the floor.

In all my au’s 99 is dad, that’s all there is to it. But I and @wrecker-and-lula usually have it so that part of the reason 99 is how he is in the clone wars is that he tried to protect his boys by letting them experiment on him. Full Credit to @wrecker-and-lula, since they told me this idea and I fell in love with it.
99 makes a deal with the Kaminoans to adopt his boys, he has to let them experiment on him.
Hunter and Wrecker were 4, only a few months apart. Tech is three and baby Crosshair is only 6 months.
Crosshair is a sick little baby, has horrible lungs and other ailments. The boys were struggling before 99 came into the picture.
99 raises them, loving all his boys. He had triple aging though, plus the experiments. By the time Crosshair is 18 he is who we see in the clone wars.
Now for pregnant Hunter, 99 is very helpful.
He’ll cook him dinner and cuddle as much as Hunter wants, plus belly rubs and back rubs.
99 is there for any of his boys when they fall pregnant, he would never ever leave them on their own unless that’s what they explicitly ask.
Hunter is very happy for this, he needs his dad a lot, they all do. And there’s just a comfort of having his dad there to help, along with his husband.
Was 99 an Alpha Class Clone? Because if he was oh boy the angst I could write with that?

Alpha-99/Alpha-42 "Parjii" When 99 was decanted he was, as all clones are, the exact same as his brothers. Only… something was wrong. By the time his brothers were the physical age of four he was already five. When they reached six he was approaching eight.
Somehow, through all their careful planning, 99 had been ‘born’ defective.
It wasn’t even a predictable kind of ‘defective’ either. The accelerated aging came in fits and bursts. He would stay the same for a while before seemingly growing four times as quickly in a single month.
No one, not the Kaminiise or the Prime, knew what to make of it.
Yet, miraculously, the Prime fought to keep him alive. To allow him to stay with is brothers as the Prime’s personal assistant.
Some time around the physical age of fourteen he caught sick. It was a very short lived illness, a high fever that had something to do with his hormone levels being out of sync. But he distinctly remembered the Prime refusing to leave his side, his dull golden eyes watching 99 with a sorrowful and far off look.
He wasn’t sure what to think of it at first. Not until his brothers were reaching the age of sixteen and he was somewhere around the physical age of twenty six. When some of their scents changed and their behaviors along with it.
That was when he learned that he was what the Prime called a “Submissa.”
It was also the beginning of Alpha-42’s, now called Parjii, concerted effort to court him.
Anyone want to request some 99 headcanons? I’m having a bad day and I just want to do some headcanons for him.
