Alan Partridge has been around since the early 90s, his creator Steven Coogan even longer, he’d have to be in order to create Alan Partridge, the detestable, arrogant radio producer from Norwich. He’s funny though and that’s really all that maters. Not before time Alan Partridge gets his own movie, full length too! It’s really just an extended episode, but I guess technically that’s what all movies based on TV shows or characters are, so this point is moot. If you haven’t seen Alan Partridge I wouldn’t advise starting here, there’s a lot to choose from and all of it is perfect. I love Alan Partridge. This movie is a pretty damn good swing and does the character justice, which I’m sure Alan approves of, I’m talking like I know him because in a way...I do.
