Christmas may be fun and all, but Winter time is a lot longer than just the holiday season. There's even snow-based sports and racing games, and these activities featured in the games take advantage of the snowy weather. If you prefer something else, there's the likes of DIE HARD Arcade, an arcade beat-em-up loosely based on the DIE HARD movies. Even Konami's DDR games have winter-friendly pop songs (like "MY FIRE ~UKS Remix~" from the first game, "SMOKE" from 2ndMIX, and "Unbelievable" from SuperNOVA 2) along with some original Christmas songs in the form of "Silent Hill" from 3rdMIX and "Starlight In The Snow" from more recent arcade-only games.

(Left) The Japanese version of Alpine Racer 3 shows a screen when unlocking Klonoa as a playable character that says “You get a Klonoa!”.

(Right) In the European version, this is fixed to say “You have unlocked Klonoa!”.
