(can i be called alpis anon?) sometimes i feel afraid of integrating ocs in a narrative that isn't close to canon bc that means i have to hc how things outside of canon would work - but i always have this looming fear of "what if canon decides to show how it works and i'm wrong smh"
(Sure thing Alpis) that’s a understandable fear but here’s the thing about creating ocs/hcs in a manga/anime/fandom that’s still being created-anything is possible and its ok if it isn’t canon, there are endless possibilities. If canon shows how it works from outside your hcs then you have a better understanding of it now and that you tried your best to guess how it is with your hcs-you shouldn’t be afraid of it at all. Don’t be afraid of being wrong at all Alpis, just know that you used your imagination and gave it your best.
