ok so i actually hate talking about bi/panphobia in a public setting because there is more nuance than solely identity erasure. for example, bi/pan people are at an elevated risk of SA, fetishization, self-harm and substance abuse. the rates are even higher for poc and trans folks. on the other hand, being in a passing relationship whereas my gay and lesbian friends face hate crimes means that i indeed have privilege. so it’s all very complex. it’s why i don’t want to take up space and talk about it
