hai. so after talking to a few people about my dilemma i wanted to address some things super quickly bc i gave a few people a scare (i'm ok now!) also it'll be under the cut bc i yap and also another surprise below

there were a few people who reached out to me and i didn't respond to and i apologize. i don't like leaving things unsaid however if i were to state it so publicly, it would open up a can of worms that i have been dealing with for nearly a year now. like genuinely, where to even start with that. however, the more talked and thought about it, there is nothing that publicly outing these people would begin to quell the toll it has taken on my mental health. nothing about it would serve a bigger picture, it just feels self-serving in a way even if i was the one who was harmed. (idk if that made any sense? but it doesn't make me feel any better or change what has happened!) really, the only thing i desire is to overcome this ill feeling i get every time i deal with the bizarre behavior that doesn't involve me shutting down my blog or completely isolating myself. i just think if there's anything to be said about all of this is... remember this is a hobby we are all sharing on our free time. no amount of disdain towards a person is worth enabling a level of misery and obsession that is deemed parasocial. because there's no other words to describe such madness spent towards one person who probably doesn't feel the same. in fact, most of us are really uncomfortable. and i say us, because i'm not the first person to experience this and i won't be the last. and if there's anything for me to take from this, i realize this isn't worth my time or sanity. like i am posting sim boobs and sims yearning on my free time come on now there are bigger things at stake than entertaining this-

during my hiatus this year, i was reminded how freaking much i love creating and like. there was just headspace for that and not the anxiety i was holding here. it's just me, similar to how it was when i first started posting stories on here after dusting off the old blog. there are so many benchmarks, storywise, that i want to share this year not because i have to, really stressing that, but because i'm so excited to share it! when i think about what genuinely makes me feel happy and fulfilled, it's always been stories. it's always been filling out spiral notebook or a document with lore that has just been sittin' in the dome. and if one person wants to hear it or more, then that would be neat. i want to merge that habit of space away while i create. it'll definitely feel like i'm offline more but i think this will help my brain some more without total isolation
