TIL that you can't be going around being wrong about the phase of the moon when you're talking to people who follow ancient-ass lunar agricultural traditional spiritual paths and shit.
My roommate tried to tell me the reason the cats kept trying to get out today was that it's the full moon. Or almost the full moon.
She got me for a second, ngl.
Then I was like, "No it's not! No, no it's not, because it was Purim like a week ago--"
She was like, "Well, it's that weird shape! Where it's not quite a half, because there's a sliver...."
I was like, "It's shrinking! It's on the way down!"
listen I might not remember what waning's called, but I definitely know the moon can't be full again until Passover 😅
