I am totally unable to stop thinking about that one scene in MCSM s2 where Radar looks at the giant enderman. He’s freaking out and keeping up with the others, but then looking into this creature’s eyes paralyzes him. 

it isn’t out of character- he’s prone to freeze up, considering how hero stuff is new to him -but the part that catches my attention is how he goes “So mesmerizing...” when looking into the enderman’s eyes. 

I feel like this suggests that enderman, or at least the giant enderman, have glowing eyes that effectively function like an angler fish’s lure. Once something locks on, they go for the kill, except the enderman is also a pursuit predator and seems to keep on attacking until the prey is worn out. This thing IS hunting!! It tries to eat Radar and the others later and is knocking out ruins in an attempt to slow them down!! And the implications this leaves about normal enderman are A Little Bit Concerning.
