a Lilach sketch page. All in all, they’re pretty charming when they want to be, but can be very annoying, flitting around as they do. They’re very good at levitation due to always levitating, but not too good at much else concerning their psiionics. They happen to be an excellent cook.

and like, look, secret identities sure are a Thing but cmon, they’re too tired to change, everyone will just assume they’re cosplayers or something, it’s 3am, who’s gonna be awake anyways

alex orders enough to feed like 5 different people & the waitress doesn’t even blink. when she comes back around after bringing all their food out, he orders seconds of everything

kim’s face is stuck in a death glare, but internally they’re almost Completely checked out. after they fail to respond to the waitress the third time, she just turns to the next person

isaiah is literally ready to fall asleep at the table. they order, but then, waiiiiit for it, aaaand... whoops there goes a glass of water. wait omfg is he still asleep? yeah looks like it (no samira you can’t draw anything on his face)

samira’s mostly just worried abt her blood sugar level, and probably gets the Healthiest meal, but is also v sad that kim won’t let her do anything to isaiah – that death glare is FUCKING SCARY okay

Noticed

So someone had been looking into her had they? Not unusual, especially since she’d abandoned archer and his idiot thugs. No appreciation for her methods or her capabilities. A shame, he’d supplied her with such good resources. Not that she hadn’t done fairly well on her own.

But see the interesting thing about this person looking into her, was the woman he associated with. The woman whose mother she’d abducted years ago and whom she had been looking for for quite some time.

“Interesting isn’t it? How much your daughter loves you after you abandoned her. Even if you did it out of the goodness of your heart, it’s impressive she’s so forgiving about it.” Lexi smiled, “I wonder if she’s told her brother about her little witch hunt? What do you think Etherea?”

As the woman looked over her shoulder to the small cage she grinned almost maniacally. The blonde in the cage was looked worn, like she’d seen many things in her years. Which was probably true, the woman was close to a couple centuries old. 

Etherea looked up, “Leave my children out of this. Even if they came for me I’d only tell them to leave. I’ve lived a long enough life.”

Lexi shook her head, “That’s not how it works sweetheart. I need to know how Ho-oh’s can resurrect and the two of us haven’t reached any conclusions. If you die and don’t come back I’m going to need another subject. Or two.”

Etherea narrowed her eyes, she didn’t have the strength to make a fuss. While Lexi saw to it she didn’t waste away and her muscles didn’t atrophy form an inability to move, she was nowhere near as strong as she used to be. 

And right now there was nothing she could do but grit her teeth and bear it.

Daybreak Din (Vs. Darkside Part 1)

…..

The great beast took up the majority of the Fountain Park, the darkness behind him blindingly devoid of any light whatsoever. Looking up at this monstrosity never ceased to bring a shiver to Alex as he took it all in. The massive mighty monster let out a low roar as 40 Keybladers all stood around him, all of them holding keyblades of varying strengths and weaknesses. Only a few carried their own rendition of the Starlight. Many more held other keyblades, like the Rumbling Rose, the Olympian Hammer and others. With this many, taking on this beast, Alex hoped the injuries would at least be sparing at best.

Heading the charge?

To no-one’s surprise, Nadia headed the charge, the silent girl holding up her keyblade to psyche up her fellow team-members, which worked quite well. Really, no-one questioned that Nadia was the normal head-person for taking on Boss Heartless. Heck, on far too many occasions Nadia often took down Boss Heartless all by herself. She was a savage warrior in numerous respects. Heck, some often wondered what she had done to gain such amazing strength.

“FORWARD!!!” She called out, prompting the keybladers to rush forward. “WATCH FOR THE HANDS!!!” Several keybladers took her advice as the massive heartless slammed it’s fist down, creating a swirling darkness around the fist that looked like it could swallow up anyone that entered it. However, Nadia, brave as ever, proved otherwise and charged into the swirling dark, striking repeatedly at the fist. “STRIKE AT THE HANDS!!!  AND WATCH OUT FOR SHADOWS!!”

Her warning came just in time for several of the recruits to block shadow swipes coming from the swirling darkness. Maine, one of the keybladers, quickly got to work, using wide sweeping blows with his Treasure Trove Keyblade to deal with many of the smaller dark spawns, quickly joined by Lawrence whom was using his Divine Rose.

Soon enough, the swirling darkness dissipated leaving the large group with the massive Darkside, The heartless now lowering itself down and firing out MASSIVE SPHERES OF DARKNESS from it’s chest. The keybladers flew into a panic as they ran back, the spheres giving chase-.

“HAAAH!!” Alex, along with the experienced members however quickly rushed up three of them striking at the same orb with great force. And with even greater effort, they sent the ball back, saving a number of keybladers. However 3 others were not as fortunate, getting slammed aside and landing on the ground hard. Growling, Alex quickly rushed over to one of the three and went to work healing him while two others got to work doing the same with the remaining.

Nadia meanwhile finally became apparent, jumping up the beast’s arm and making her way to it’s head. “STAY TOGETHER!!” The normally quiet girl shouted as she did.

Aiden jumped in quickly, charging her power. “HAAH!!!” She jumped into the air-

And seven powerful blades of light surrounded her, which she launched at the Darkside’s face all at once, causing it to stagger backwards and stop firing magical shots. It was quite the sight, seeing the two work together. Nadia finally reached the face-

“ARS!!!” Her keyblade and her arm started glowing golden as she reached the face. “ARCANUM!!!!” Her following attacks were fast and powerful, heck some of the slices looked even faster than Alex himself could see. The final attack definitely stunned it further and sent the beast collapsing back into a series of buildings, with Nadia briskly hovering down and landing on her feet.

“YEAH!!! WE GOT HIM ON THE ROPES!!!” Cheered several trainees.

“No time to celebrate!! Quick! Everyone attack at once!!!”

That got everyone to nod in agreement and rush in all at once. “FIRE RAID!!!!” One threw his keyblade which was now on fire.

“FLARE BLITZ!!!” The other followed up with a charging attack followed by a powerful upward strike which billowed with flames.

As the trainees continued, Alex stayed back to recover his magic since he had used a bunch to heal up the recruits taken down by the dark energy ball. “Okay okay…. Almost there, just gotta focus up some more of my-“

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!”

???? That caught not only Alex’s attention but also the attention of the keybladers working on the Darkside….

MANY EYES WIDENED AND MANY JAWS WENT AGAPE IN THAT MOMENT.

Why?

Because what looked ike a TIDAL WAVE of shadows was SWARMING LIKE BEES coming right at them. The recruits that were frozen in terror were quickly pushed by Alex. “RUN!!! RUN NOW RUN FAST!!!!” They took his advice to heart, and, quickly there-after, Alex did the same. “NADIAAAAAA!!! WHAT IS THAT THING?!?!?!?”

Nadia was finally speechless once more as she took in the swarm- And just when things couldn’t get any worse, the Darkside appeared to be stirring as well.

“WORRY ABOUT IT LATER!!! MOVE!!!!” Maine’s suggestion MORE then made sense and that was exactly what the keybladers did, running as fast as they could away from the swarm of Heartless. The Darkside meanwhile stood up and glowered at the running keybladers…. After a moment, it slowly followed after, using it’s long stride to keep up.

Nadia, Aiden, Amory and Tag ran at fast speeds down First district… WITH THE HEARTLESS SWARM nipping at their heels. By then the newer members had ran off, leaving this set of girls with this mysterious new attacking formation following them towards what looked like the old Clocktower further ahead.

“SO… WHAT IS THAT THING?!?!?” Tag asked in complete panic.

“DUNNO, DON’T WANNA FIND OUT!!!” Aiden answered back quickly.

“Well we may be getting the chance!!!” Amory pointed out looking a bit terrified at her realization.

“WHY?? BECAUSE WE’RE GONNA TURN AROUND AND FIGHT IT??? NO WAY JOSE-!!” Tag however was cut off by what she had to say next.

“No!! There’s no route past the old Clocktower!!!”

…… Nadia let out a groan as she prepped her keyblade for another round of punishment.

As for Alex, Maine, Lawrence and Gabriel, the four were running towards the coast with the Darkside hot on their heels stomping through the city and smashing through buildings all the while. Other trainee recruits had separated from this group of 4 and had dispersed into the city to go find more reinforcements.

“CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP!!!” Alex shouted out as the others followed behind him. “WHY ARE YOU THREE FOLLOWING ME?!?!?”

“Well come on!! You’re the big man on campus! The big workaholic that loves collecting Lux!” Gabriel shouted cleanly, looking absolutely freaked out. “Shouldn’t you be strong enough to take this thing out?!?!”

“I’M STRONG BUT I’M NOT THAT STRONG!!” He repeated for what must have been the third time this month.

“Um guys? Not to rain on anyone’s parade or something? But we’re getting really close to the Coastlands Promenade…” …. Oh crap Maine was right…

“I really hope not a lot of people are there… If this fight has a high turnout there could be some really high numbers  on the casualties list!!!” Lawrence went over the facts in his head, looking panicked. “Hopefully after the alerts everyone either went home or are participating in heartless raids ELSEWHERE.”

“What about the Promenade though???” Alex shouted.

“We’ll do whatever we have to!” Maine stated, putting his best expression of finality into it the announcement…

Needless to say Alex did not look happy about it…..
