claudine has this ridiculous big canopy bed right? so futaba went around telling everyone how it was so awesome to sleep in and suddenly everyone took a interest in her bed. claudine grudgingly agrees to let them take turns but she got annoyed when they literally camp in her room every night. one day maya just casually say "come sleep with me". kuro-chan sleepily went along because she really needs her beauty sleep. it took a few days before she realized this was the aim of the girls all along.
you say that like all these children aren’t extremely touched starved and Kuro-chan would get a girl in her bed, someone like Karen who’s immediately trying to cuddle, or Mahiru who would rub little circles on her back and hum her a lullaby, or Kaoruko who if we’re being legit here is probably really good at spooning people, and would just fucking melt immediately and have the best sleep of her life.
See this is why the headcanon that Banana goes and cuddles with random girls in the middle of the night, or she moves girls into other rooms to cuddle with each other, is so damn perfect because everyone needs cuddles, they all deserve it, and it keeps the stress and bad thoughts away. I mean Claudine has already shared a bed with Futaba, and they’re the best of bros, so really it’d probably be a good bonding exercise. They can also see who can last in a bed with Karen the longest, aka the most messiest sleeper in the world that somehow only Mahiru and Hikari know how to handle.
