Vio:
Serpent
Scales on body (sides of neck that go over his shoulder and down his biceps slightly. On sides and hips that wrap around his abdomen like a plate and halfway down his outer thighs. A lot randomly across his legs especially after a tail transformation.) slit brown eyes, dark vision, venomous, has fangs, can transform to have a naga type body with a massive tail instead of legs. Honey blonde hair that’s very silky and smooth. Usually keeps it up in a clip or with a hair stick.
Self conscious about eating mice and birds but they’re his favorite. Can technically eat other things but is absolutely a carnivore so he can't really digest plant matter well. Prefers raw meat and when alone live prey, but will eat cooked meat. Gets sushi with Blue pretty often. He's dating Shadow.
His favorite dish besides sashimi is Yukhoe.
He is an ethnobotanist and has earth magic.
Blue:
Niad/Undine water nymph
Skin a shade of pale blue that can change tone in water depending on what type she’s submerged in. Webbed fingers and feet (HATES shoes) has claws. Has double lids like a lizard to protect her eyes under water and not have to blink. Her eyes are teal. Blue-green hair that’s very long and wavy. Can transform into a full water nymph with sharp teeth and claws and has a chameleon ability underwater to fully match the color of the water around her. Amazing at hide and seek. Has to soak in water at least a few times a week. She’s an omnivore mostly eating seafood and sea plants. The sushi place makes her a special algae desert that is similar to flan, which is her favorite food next to spicy tuna rice balls.
She is a swim coach for high school teams and college teams. During the summer she works part time jobs as a laborer because she’s very strong. also a good amount of volunteer work. (which is where she met Green) and has water magic.
Red:
Pheonix
Has beautiful wings, can light at will with stupidly hot fire. They’re a rich copper color that matches his hair when unlit. Copper hair that’s frizzy and curly. He has orange eyes. Loves flying with Green and they have races all the time. Has bird eyes, all pupils. He has hollow bones and is super light. can turn into full flames and grow nails into talons. eats things like herbal plants and spices and fire. He loves chai tea. Will eat food though. Has a super high spice tolerance because he can just straight up eats raw peppercorns. He crunches them like it’s those barely popped popcorn kernels. Very strong jaws and teeth. His favorite dish is halabessa and he and Shadow sometimes have contests eating hot foods. Comically unaware of Green’s crush on him or the fact they have been on several dates.
He is currently a student but wants to be a firefighter because the flames wouldn’t hurt him. He’s in an emt course at the moment. He has fire magic.
Green: Wyvern
A small set of green leather wings on his back, can transform them HUGE to fly. Has scales similarly patterned to Vio’s but different color. He has to get special skin cream for his skin to not dry out in summer. It cracks on his hands a lot. enjoys cold the most and has weird lungs so he can breathe at really high altitudes. he's not allowed tonfly near planes anymore though. He can transform into a fully scaled wyvern. He can also summon a tail attached by this tailbone but tends not to because it can get in the way. He has fluffy blonde hair that he’s dyed the tips the same shade of green as his eyes. Despite being a wyvern he's an omnivore with a preference for meat but refuses to eat anything raw. Loves Greek and Mediterranean food. His favorite dish is souvlaki dipped in tzatziki. He has a crush on Red.
He’s stupidly loaded because his family is mostly dragons and wyverns who hoarded wealth so instead of a job he volunteers and donates and pays for people and charities. He also has a huge social media presence.
He has air/wind magic.
Zelda: Lamassu
Humanoid mostly but the bottom half turns gradually into a lion similar to that of a satyr. Starting around her hips her skin turns fuzzy like that of a lioness, and has a tail from her tailbone. She has corn silk yellow hair and pretty gemstone blue eyes. They sometimes slit like a cat’s. Can summon eagle wings on the small of her back but they’re too small and delicate to fly or hold up her body. Loves fruits and hearty meals like three onion lentil soup. Her favorite food is toasted barley bread with honey and dried figs on top.
She’s the Princess and does a lot of work with Green in their community.
She has sunlight/light magic.
Shadow:
Qareen
Tall boy. Tall and skinny. Where are their organs? Does he have organs?? nobody knows. Except Vio, maybe he knows. Hair is naturally black but he dyes it purple. His eyes are heterochromatic: one blue and one red. He can make parts of his body go translucent at will and sometimes accidentally does it when distracted or startled. He can make shadow puppets like nobody's business. His skin is a light gray color but the tips of his feet, fingers, and ears are black that gradient into gray further down their skin. He has freckles sparkling across his skin and they’re a lighter gray color and some white (Vio calls them stars) he gets more in prolonged sun exposure. His ears are very long and pointed like an elf’s and they have an indent notch. Also many piercings in his ears and snake bites in their bottom lip. Absolute menace sometimes, loves pranks and trying to get his friends to skip schools and play or steal. Sometimes they need a reminder of what's too far. He can regenerate lost limbs, as long as it wasn’t his head. Gets a thrill when he can tempt someone into doing something bad. He can hide inside people’s shadows.
Adores Indian food, and while he enjoys spicy stuff like vindaloo his favorite is butter chicken with naan or basmati rice. He is also the sole reason Vio branches out into different foods. He makes so much fucking biryani for their friends. So much. When Shadow cooks for them, they will all take home leftovers and have food for like a week.
He’s in between jobs, but secretly wants to be a chef someday and cook homely hearty meals. They’re dating Vio.
