Have you posted about spirals before, or would you be willing to? I’ve been drawn to the spiral motif recently and it’s shown up across different things I’m interested in. Also very symbolically relevant to my journeys in life! So just based on your blog title I’m interested in what you have to say :)
๛Máithe, hello, welcome!! Nice to meet you :) Thank you for the excellent question! I don't believe I have ever explained my blog title.

I’m so mad I’ve been dying to Roquefort tons only to realize that if I just stay airborne he has a hard time hitting me😭
Also this clip from the other day still drives me insane idk if my game bugged or if it’s because I didn’t hit a just timing parry but why the heck did I get knocked back and dealt so much damage despite hitting the parry sobs
I've heard so many negative things about the Armada and especially the Energon dub how are you surviving this I want to watch them so bad but the idea of bad dubbing scares me
Hahah. I'm old at 30 and watched so MANY 80s anime dubs as a kid. Armada and Energon's dubbing is CHEESY anime in all my favorite ways.
Its also cheesy in that way that you don't notice the dark underbelly. Its silly in that way that when it sneaks up on you it hits hard and fast and you're left wondering how they got away with it.
The Armada Dub is a bit better handled and Gary Chalk + David Kaye have amazing vocal work that puts them on par (personally) with the original VA for Op and Megatron.
Energon was sadly very mishandled. But I watched it through the lens of "Oh this is no worse then all those old video game dubs" plus we have Light Yagami's va voicing Kicker Jones and I am beyond delighted by this. He really brings a nice charm to Kicker's nature. (No I don't care what others say, I believe Kicker is a wonderfully complex written human companion with so many unique takes on him. Boy is a traumatized pile of phobias and the Autobots had to earn his trust.)
And most important of all.
My biggest secret. I focus on what I like about a story. I see what they did and what they were trying to say. And I am still of the highest belief that The Unicron Trilogy could of been as beloved as Prime or Animated if the show was given any respect by the higher ups and allowed polish instead of being rushed out to the door.
There's so much nuanced story telling here and honestly. Once you start noticing the good work put in despite how much rushing the animators and writers were pushed through. You start to see the diamond in the rough.
thinking about my little meow meow again...
please look at him
I love him.
"#and can we talk about how palpatine called ahsoka ashoka in world between worlds" I've been thinking about this for the past 2 years!!! Palpatine says Ahsoka in The Wrong Jedi so he clearly knew her name at some point... Is he just forgetful in his old age??? Is it deliberate disrespect???
palpatine definitely didn’t like ahsoka so we’ll justify it as him being disrespectful sdjfjskfd. i guess some people just have difficulty pronouncing her name:
oh yeah related to the last post, oranges are my least favorite citrus. i like orange juice and creamsicles and thats it. i hate anything flavored with orange other than a beverage. and i HATE their smell. when someone leaves an orange peel in the trash it makes me gag
