Rosemary worked as a kindergarten teacher in Ponyville and also ran a small flower store where she sold the flowers she grew herself. Her daughter, sweet Briar, is also very interested in flowers.
A few years passed, and Sweet Briar found a black colt in one of their fields. He seemed helpless and shocked, so she brought him to her mother. When she asked where his family was, he never answered, so she let him live with them. After a few months, he became a part of the family, for sweet Briar he's like a big brother.
Despite the new addition to the family, everything became more difficult for Rosemary. The harvest was meagre due to snow in the middle of summer. Therefore, many of the flowers could not be sold. This seemed to worry Temper. He was no longer the same since then. He withdrew more and more and one day disappeared. Shortly after his disappearance, the fog and the snow began to stop.
Years went by, and by chance, Temper now Geronimo came back to ponyville, but he only found Sweet Briar, who in the meantime continued to run her mother's store. She was pretty mad at him at first, but eventually, they got along. Today, she still runs the little flower store and is an adoptive aunt for Timer, who puts all sorts of dumb ideas in his ear.
OMG this one is so long I didn’t mean for it to get this big
But thank you for the support on my School!Guanlin scenario!!

The Yoon family goes back many centuries, they’ve been on the throne for at least 200 years
In that time there’s been no wars, no uprisings, nothing to put the citizens they rule at harm
They were the most caring & trustworthy rulers the Kingdom has ever had
The kingdom couldn’t have had a better king and queen
Soon their eldest son Jisung would be taking over from them, but first he needed to find a suitable partner
Traditionally, his parents wanted to marry him to a woman of royal descent, but not forcibly
If they genuinely didn’t go well or disliked each other then it wouldn’t happen
They wanted a strong dynasty but also wanted their son to be happy
Jisung was just like any other Yoon
Happy
Caring
A well-rounded nice guy
But he also had his fair share of secrets
Like how he’d sneak extra eats from the kitchen to feed the stray animals that come to his garden in the evenings
Okay they weren’t bad secrets, just things that he liked to keep to himself
Another thing is that he occasionally crept out at night to go on walks around the garden and lakes just down from his grand home
Most of the time he’d meet a girl down there, one he had grown incredibly close with over the many months he’d been going down there
The first time he’d found you, you were in a small white dress sat in a blossom tree in the middle of spring making a flower crown out of the blossom around you
You were distracted by your task so much that you didn’t notice Jisung until he called out to you from below
you almost fell out of the tree in surprise at another voice
Since it was dark you didn’t see that it was Jisung, the crown prince
He didn’t really care for formalities, but was a little shocked when you replied
“Um, who the heck are you?”
It wasn’t until you got closer to him that you realised who you’d just said that to
You instantly dropped to your knees and asked for forgiveness
Jisung just laughed and pulled you up, saying not to worry about it
He was wearing casual clothes to make him blend in so it was an honest mistake
“I’m sure you know who I am, but I think I should ask who you are...”
“Oh, sorry, I’m y/n”
Jisung smiled at you and sat in a low branch of the blossom tree you were in a few minutes ago
A little confused, you climbed up past him and resumed your work on the flower crown
After around half an hour of work, curiosity got the best of you
“So why are you out here so late? Do your parents know?”
“I just wanted a break and it seemed like a nice night, and no they do not know. But I could ask you the same thing, why is a young lady like you out here late at night?”
“I couldn’t sleep”
“You ought to be careful though, some men may see girls like you as a target for... other activities...”
You scoffed at his comment
“Look Mr Crown Prince, I could flip you over my shoulder and pin you to the ground if i really wanted to, don’t you worry”
Surprised by your boldness Jisung turned to look at you in the higher branches
“Really? Come on then”
Jisung hopped to the floor and spread his arms
“Wait seriously?”
“Seriously”
You climbed down to meet him on the ground, your flower crown now forgotten
You hesitated slightly before taking hold of Jisung’s arm and pulling him over your shoulder in front of you and kicking his legs out from underneath him
Shocked by your strength Jisung let out a small whistle of admiration
Realising the odd position you were in, you quickly let go of him and offered a hand to help him up
He grabbed your hand and pulled himself up, brushing the dirt off of his clothes
You both started laughing out of the blue and didn’t stop until you couldn’t breathe
Ever since that day you’ve been meeting up regularly, just hanging out like regular friends
Jisung would always tell you small stories of what happens in the castle
even though you’ve never actually been there, you feel as though you could walk around there without getting lost because of all of Jisung’s stories
You never had anything as interesting, just small stories about customers who came into your family bakery
Your parents were the owner’s of the kingdom’s largest and most popular bakery
Occasionally you brought snacks for the two of you
They were usually things like flavoured bread rolls, sweet pastries and the odd cake slice
Quite often Jisung took some home to feed the animals
One night Jisung was complaining about one of the dates his parents set him up on with another princess
“We both didn’t want this, clearly. But we got to talking some way through and she told me that she was interested in women more than men but was too scared to tell her parents. They’re apparently very strict about that sort of stuff......”
Honestly you weren’t paying attention to what he said for the rest of it
You were too busy admiring how the moonlight fell perfectly on his hair
Where it caught the highlights and made him look ethereal
How the lake in front of you glistened in his eyes and on his small earrings
How his lips looked so soft as he talked and...
Whoa, too far y/n, let’s not go and fall in love with a Prince who you have no chance with
Oh... too late
You were snapped out of your trance by Jisung waving in your face
“Hello? Y/n? Anyone in there?”
“Hm? Oh sorry, I zoned out for a bit...”
He giggled at that
God damn giggled... get it together y/n
“Hey are you okay, you don’t look too good?”
He put his hand on your forehead to check your temperature
“You feel a bit hot y/n, get some sleep and take some medicine okay. I don’t want you getting sick on me”
You left earlier than usual and promised Jisung that you’d get some rest
The following morning you woke up in a cold sweat
You really were sick
Your parents were out for the weekend in another kingdom at a bakers’ festival
You were sat in front of the fire in the front room wrapped in your blankets when you heard a knock at the door
You weren’t expecting anyone to show up so you slowly wandered over to the door and opened it slightly to look out
You saw Jisung on the other side holding a small pouch
“Uhhh... what are you doing here?”
“I wanted to check up on you, you looked terrible last night.”
“Wow thanks”
“Not like that”
You smiled weakly and let him in
He was wearing a low falling hat and large scarf to cover his face and wore a long coat over his regular clothes
“Do your parents know you’re here?”
“They think I’m just out for a walk, they insisted I wear these and cover myself just in case I get ambushed or something. I actually have quite a few fans out there.”
You rolled your eyes at him and sat back down in front of the fire
Behind you in the kitchen Jisung was boiling water and adding some herbal remedy into it. It was a family secret recipe that easily cured fevers like yours
He brought over a cup full of the herbal tea and sat down with you by the fire
You sat in silence for a few minutes while you carefully sipped the drink
You could feel it already starting to help and you felt a lot better
“How does it work so quickly?”
“I don’t know, people say that my ancestor was a witch and the recipe is actually a spell to cure people”
“Well that would explain your unnaturally good looks...”
“What?”
“Oh crap did I say that out loud”
Jisung burst out laughing while you slowly sank in on yourself attempting to hide from the embarrassment
You stayed in front of the fire for another twenty minutes before Jisung got up
“I ought to get going now, it’ll probably be lunch soon. Are you going to be okay by yourself?”
You nodded in response and Jisung smiled back, grabbing his scarf and heading to the door
“See you tonight, y/n”
“Yeah...”
That night you felt much better, the remedy really helped you recover
You met Jisung at the usual spot by the lake with a few more snacks
After the two of you ate, Jisung started talking about another potential bride his parents want him to meet tomorrow
“I hate it. I get that they want a pure royal blood line, but does it really matter. None of the girls are good. Not to be picky but they’re just not right, y’know...”
Yeah, you knew... all too well
After a few minutes of silence just spent staring at the lake, Jisung spoke up again
“Hey, uh, do you want to come back to the palace tonight? If you don’t that’s fine but i just realised that i’ve been to your place but you’ve never been over to mine-”
“Jisung, yes, I’d really like that. But are you sure? I mean your parents don’t know about me do they? Will they be okay?”
“They’re asleep don’t worry. The only person you’ll possibly see is my friend, well technically he’s my page boy, Daniel, but as big as he is he’s just a glorified teddy bear and he actually wants to meet you.”
Well how could you say no to that?
Jisung led you back down the path that takes both of you to the gardens outside of his quarters
You see a man with very large shoulders waiting outside the large doors leading into the palace
You grab onto Jisung’s arm out of panic but he reassures you that that is just Daniel
The broad-shouldered man comes up to you and smiles, showing cute bunny teeth and crinkly eyes
Wow, he really is a big teddy bear
Instead of going through the door, Jisung begins to climb up a climbing plant structure underneath a window
Daniel follows him up leaving you come up last
When you reach the top the two boys help you over the edge and into Jisung’s room
“So you must be the legendary y/n! I’m Daniel if Jisung hasn’t already told you”
“Nice to meet you, Daniel. Jisung only mentioned you tonight so I didn’t expect to meet anyone else”
You all went and sat down on Jisung’s large bed, marveling in the sheer size of it
“Don’t you get lonely in here, it seems far to big just for you”
“Yeah it gets a bit lonely. I mean I have Daniel so it’s not too bad, but that’s why I started going out at night, to try and get away from all this. I don’t like the idea of my life being controlled by being royalty...”
“Yeah, I understand”
“Hey guys, I need to go my shift down by the gates but you’ll be okay up here alone right? I’ll be back in the morning, Jisung. Nice seeing you y/n”
As Daniel left you lay down fully on Jisung’s bed and rolled over until you hit his legs
He reached over to his bedside table and picked up a book
You curled into yourself as Jisung began to read silently
You felt a hand in your hair after a few minutes and realised that Jisung had subconsciously put it there while reading
Trying not to blush too hard or make a big deal out of it, you calmed yourself and drifted into a light sleep with Jisung carding his fingers in your hair
You woke up roughly an hour later to see Jisung also asleep with the book closed on his chest
You put it onto the table and began to shuffle Jisung slightly as to not wake him but also get him under his covers
Just as you got him under and were about to leave, he grabbed your arm and dragged you back down into the bed with him
“Hnnnng... y/n.... stay”
Well... Your parents wouldn’t be back until tomorrow evening so that’s not something to worry about
But what about the people who work here...
Oh well, it’ll only be Daniel in here in the morning
Right?
Not wanting to talk yourself out of it you let Jisung drag you back into the bed and slowly fall into sleep as Jisung unconsciously wraps his arm around you and pulls you closer
In the morning you’re woken by Daniel barging into the room with breakfast (and extra for you when he peeked in an saw you earlier)
“What time is it?”
“Like 8:30 I think”
Looking around you remembered last night
You wish you didn’t ever have to leave this situation but Jisung was waking up and your parents would be home later
Jisung sat up and blearily rubbed his eyes
“Ugh, 10 more minutes...”
Morning Jisung is a very cute Jisung you decided
“I should probably go...”
“No stay! i got you breakfast”
Daniel shoved the tray full of food in your face and insisted that you eat it
You stayed for breakfast but didn’t want to over-stay your welcome, knowing that Jisung had another date today and didn’t want to be discovered
Once you’d gone back down the plant structure Jisung groaned and nearly let his face fall into his food
“Daniel... what do I do? I’ve got that date with the Princess of Pledis today... but I can’t go through with any of the women that my parents put forwards, no matter how nice they are, they’re not y/n... Help me Daniel”
“Just suck it up, tell your parents, then y/n. Your folks just want the best and for you to be happy. And from what I’ve heard, I think y/n would gladly date you”
“Ugh I hate it when you’re right”
Jisung went along to date with the Princess, who he learned was Im Nayoung, and when they were finally left alone he calmly explained his situation to her
“Sorry if you expecting me to become your future husband or something like that...”
“Don’t worry, I’m not actually interested in marriage. I’m just doing it for my parents”
Both of them agreed to be friends and get to know each other
That’d probably give his parents false hope but...Oh well, he needed to tell them soon
He decided on telling them about his wishes on a Friday, just after new year, as not to disrupt the festivities with the news
That morning Daniel was boosting his confidence
Well trying to anyway
“You can do it Jisung!”
“Yeah I can do it... No I can’t i’m going to be banished, everyone will hate me.”
“For Christ’s sake Jisung, get it together and tell them”
He headed downstairs to his parents’ front room
“Mother, Father... There’s something I wish to talk about”
He sat down and explained how he felt about you and how he had no interest in any of the girls they presented him with
Until he finished his ramble talk, his parents were silent, only looking at him with small smiles upon their faces
“Jisung... of course we want you to be happy, and while we would prefer if you kept the royal bloodline, we accept your feelings and hope that y/n accepts them too”
“Wait how do you know their name? I never mentioned that...”
“Ah, you see, Daniel told us a few things here and there. We saw you sneaking off every now and then so asked him to make sure you were okay. He simply gave us extra information.”
With a mental note to kill Kang Daniel, Jisung thanked his parents then headed back up to his quarters
“Kang. Daniel. I. Will. Murder. You.”
“What did I do?!”
“You know exactly what you did, you sneaky motherfu-”
“Okay, okay, don’t kill me please!”
“Give me one good reason.”
“You love me.”
“Incorrect”
“Worth a shot”
The next day Jisung planned to confess
He met you at the usual time and usual place
Except he brought his own food and drink this time
He was fully prepared with wine
and an engagement ring, but that’s for later
“Hey Jisung”
“Hello y/n”
“What’s with all this?”
“I just wanted to do something to repay all the times you brought pastries”
“You didn’t have to...”
“I know, I just wanted to”
The two of you ate all the food and made idle talk until Jisung gained his confidence and approached the situation
“So um, y/n. I told my parents the other day that I have no interest in marrying a princess...”
This caught your attention. Not a princess?
“And they said they just want me to be happy. They don’t want me to be forced into something I don’t want. So I’m pursuing what makes me happy.”
There’s no way it could be you... Don’t get your hopes up y/n... they’ll only be crushed
“I’m happy for you Jisung”
“Thank you, y/n, really. So... Since I’m going after what is making me happy.”
Deep breaths, Jisung
Calm yourself, y/n
“Y/n, this may be sudden and if you don’t want this then I will not force you into anything, but will you be my fiancee and become a member of our royal family?”
He held out a small velvet box with a diamond ring in the centre
You couldn’t hold back the tears as they streamed down your face
“Y/n? Did I do something wrong? I’m so sorry.”
You laughed and shook your head through the tears
Throwing yourself at Jisung you whispered “yes” roughly a million times in his ear.
He couldn’t help the few happy tears that appeared when he put the ring onto your finger
Jisung’s parents were absolutely ecstatic that their son had finally found the right girl
They decided to hold the Royal Wedding 6 months later
Your dress was grand and white, With Jisung in his royal blue robes to match the decor
The entire kingdom was overjoyed by the wedding, gladly accepting you into the royal family, as long as your family still ran the bakery and you help out sometimes
Yet again, sorry this is so long, i just got caught up in this ^^’
