So, I went to a baby shower the other day for my cousin that was kinda last minute, so I showed up empty handed (so embarrassing). So obviously I now need to quickly pull together a gift and send it to them.

I always seem to have a couple partially finished baby gifts floating around (mostly I think it's 'cause I really like working in miniature, and if you want to make a useful miniature, you need to make it for a miniature human) so I dug around and decided it was time to finish these:

One shoe just needs a couple pairs of hand-stitched eyelets for the laces, and the other still needs to be mostly assembled. I just need the spoons to actually work on this.

I'm a bit proud of the tread- part way through basting the first sole I decided if I was making tiny sneakers they needed tread, so I freehanded some. It turned out not bad, and I think it adds a level of verisimilitude? Anyways, they're cute.

Because I started these on a machine, I need to finish them on a machine (besides the aforementioned eyelets) and I'm having issues getting up the motivation to deal with... All That. So hopefully I can muster up the spoons to actually finish these soon!
