What would your character wear if they were told they had to gussy up?
Yesssssssss.
I think they're more of a dresses/skirts person for dressing nicely, and they're somewhat modest (long sleeves, high neck, long skirt) but that also comes with an extremely high leg slit and is pretty tight-fitting. They'd braid or do something to put their hair up, and they'd be sans-hat for once. Whatever tokens they would have would be turned into some kind of rough jewelry to keep them on hand.
If your character had to get a tattoo what would it be?
Snek! They would get something snakey to match with Cotton a little bit, because Cotton is their favorite thing in the world. Alternatively they would get some bible notation (like, book : verse) of their home church's scripture. I find those kinda Eh myself, but Saint might actually find it comforting. A MAGICAL TATTOO would trump both of those, though. I think practicality is better than sentimentality for Saint.
Is there a habit your character has that they learned from someone else?
Yes, but it hasn't come up yet! Their releasing spirits is exactly the way their teacher did it. From further back, I think they hum the same song their mother did when doing incredibly menial tasks-- cleaning, meal prep, etc. And that one's an unconscious thing.
What scents does your character find comforting?
Clean linens because it reminds them of being inside somewhere safe, honeysuckle because of summer days back home, and jasmine-- which was their mother's perfume of choice for church. Old wood smells, too, like old constructed wood buildings bring them comfort.
How often does your character have nightmares?
Often enough that they learned how to mitigate them ahead of time with some shit from their herbalist kit. Saint's bedtime ritual is important and Cotton enforces it.
What is a talent your character wishes they had?
Saint really wishes that they had the dexterous abilities of our monk and rogue. It's not their strong suit, and their reflexes and precision aren't anything to write home about. Like, they never even considered unlatching the prisoner spirit's shackles because it would be waaaaay outside of their ability. They think people who can be very precise and accurate are very very talented and skilled, and it impresses them.
