lestat, at his core, trying to put the people he loves above himself kills me. being hurt and angry with louis but still dropping everything to show up for him when he asks. putting aside his own devastation upon seeing regina to try to not to feed louis's delusion and put a stop to something that is harming him. even with the band, despite how grueling he's been in the recording process, he tries not to give in when they ask to be turned into vampires. he wants this album but he doesn't want to hurt them, he's afraid his blood is rotten and turning them will ruin their lives :(
