layclive anon here--yeah, i hear what youre saying! but to call it "pedo" is simply false. clive ISNT luke, in any way shape or form. im heavily against layluke even when luke is an adult, because layton was actively involved with luke's life when luke was a child. but clive grew up without knowing layton at all, save for the one time layton saved him. that being said im not sure anyone should be with clive in a canon context, so i admit i'm mostly banking on AUs here. also i hope youre ok! It's really sad but I also began to think some people forgot that tumblr is supposed to be fun. It's easy to say "its not that deep" but fandom is really all about fun and not just discourse and that weird detached "this thing is trash and I hate it but oh here I am making content of it" attitude some people have on here. there is no shame in wanting your content to be reblogged and recognised and I fully support your decision
