SSB Magical Girl Concepts (Scrapped)

Plot Stuff

In the World of Magic, people with a strong aptitude for magic gather to test their strength in magic duels. Duels are won by separating the opponent from their source of magic (usually an item). Doing so will temporarily strip them of all magic. If left without their magic for too long, that person will eventually enter a coma and will only revive when reunited with their magic item. Only people and creatures with strong magic power can survive in this world.

The Subspace Army aims to completely drain the World of all its magic and magic users.

Major Characters:

Mario Ability: Burning Stars A courageous lad from the Mushroom Kingdom. Came to this land for sport. He can't turn a blind eye to wrong doing and has joined the fight to keep this world's magic from being lost. His ability allows him to conjure fire and heat at will, a great weapon and a dangerous mobility option.

Kirby Ability: Gluttonous Galaxies A cute alien from the planet Pop Star. Came to this land for sport. A hero at heart, he charges forth to put an end to Subspace Army's crimes

King Dedede Ability: Walloping Fountain A semi-heroic king from the Planet Pop Star. Learns early on the goals of the Subspace Army and develops the "temporary magic badge", a device that provides the user with artificial magic to wake them from a low-magic induced coma. Such a device takes an incredibly large amount of magic, so only a few were made and Dedede tries to wrangle up as many fighters as possible to help power the badges and also be around to revive the others when the time comes. His ability allows him to increase the power of this hammer swing.

Master Hand Ability: Smashing Applause
