Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a, uh... It's a movie alright...

#nat rambles #dr strange in the multiverse of madness #marvel spoilers #dr strange mom #dr strange in the multiverse of madness spoilers #spoilers #i liked the horror aspect of it #like that was really intriguing to see #but america chavez kinda felt shoehorned into the story in a way #she didn't really have that much to do other than run from wanda #and have the realization that i can do this i am capable of controlling my powers #sure there's somesome development she gets but it felt like she was sidelined #also wanda #i love how much of a girlboss she was #but seeing her be powerful within the story that was told regressed so much character development from wandavision #i understand the darkhold was influencing her #but i wanted to see her over the course of the movie slowly delve deeper into her obsession #instead of having her be evil right of the bat #elizabeth olsen did a fantastic job with the shit script that was given to her #also the illuminati being a bunch of cameos that were killed off within 15 minutes of their introduction #they were done dirty #like bro people cheered in the theatre when they appeared onscreen #and then wanda sniped them #you could have picked them off over the course of the movie #whether they did it for shock factor or just wanted to have a bunch of fanservice #it could have been executed much better #also wong i love you my dude #you put up with so much bullshit and nobody ever thanks you for it in the movies

I have to cancel Starz and all the fun movie channels tomorrow, so tonight was my only chance to watch Age of Ultron.

Mom was quiet the entire time and I didn't have to go downstairs at all. On top of that, my attention span held through 90% of it.
