where did… where did the tarantula go?…
Sister says she set Skittles free since she started feeling bad for keeping him contained <3
He was originally a wild tarantula she caught, to be clear, so it was for the best tbh. He'd escaped once before that and sort of wandered around her room for a while before she found him, so I think that was the trigger
#we actually had another tarantula as kids#also wild#we found him at our after school daycare (or more accurately the staff did) during pick up#and my mom helped catch him then asked if she could keep him#so we did for a while#don't really remember what happened to him but I think he also escaped#wild spiders should be left alone lowkey#or if u do keep them given a very good life I think#tarantulas are cool#we also had a tortoise as kids#we painted him pink to spot him easier if I remember right#we also had ducks but the only one who really survived long was Quackera#Quackera my beloved I miss you </3#we had others but they died young (the dogs shook one) and the only other to get old had his neck ripped out by a possum#I still remember the body tbh it was FUCKED#possum didn't even eat him just like#decapitated him then left#didn't touch Quackera tho#my queen was vicious so I see why#im forever mad at how we lost Quackera actually#she flew away bc my parents didn't clip her wings enough#but the thing is. I kept fucking reminding them to do it#because MULTIPLE TIMES I found her just wandering around up the street while I was outside#like DAYS before she flew away I actually found her up the street when I was walking to school#I picked her up and took her home and told my dad about and reminded him to clip her wings and everything#but ig that wasn't enough because !! she flew away a few days later#I hope she's ok </3#we also had an African grey parrot who flew away#everyone was upset at that one#birds asks
