So I was reading an interview with AoS costume designers on Tyranny of Style. They said they couldn't discuss Simmon's costumes for season 3 because of spoilers. I had a terrible thought, what if she's pregnant? Seems unlikely, but I certainly hope it doesn't happen.

First thing first, was this interview before season 3? Because saying that Jemma’s costume is the same she had in the finale but with six months worth of damage would indeed be a spoiler. So is “loose clothes that make her comfortable because she has PTSD”. Because before season 3 we had no idea how ling Jemma would be out. 6 months, alien planet, PTSD were all spoilers back then.

As for pregnant Jemma:

Really I’m in a huuuuge denial about this theory until canon will hit me in the face with it (like it did with Space Boyfriend). While it would indeed give this love triangle a deeper meaning, as I was asking for, this is definitely not what I meant.

Another thing is something I usually don’t discuss at all, which is the “did they have sex?’ question. Really I don’t care what people do in bed as long as all parts are willing and I don’t judge how far they go or don’t go. To say the truth I find opinions like “they went on three dates/they are together for over a month/they sleep in the same bed/they are engaged, of course they had sex” quite offensive. Because while there are people who have sex after first date or even before it, there are also people who don’t have it for a long time or until married or even after it and it’s all right in all of the above cases. So I really don’t like this labeling and making assumptions because of how the bed is standing or what the situation/status is and making anyone feeling like something is a norm they should follow in this department. To the point: while for some people the fact that their beds are pushed together mean they definitely have sex, the fact that it’s shown in this subtle way and not with them actually going to the bed or undressing (like we had with May/Ward, Skye/Miles, Bobbi/Hunter and Coulson/Rosalind) may mean that they simply sleep together for comfort and it was shown just to point out that they started a relationship. It does sound naive and like a denial, but hey this is the version I’d rather prefer to believe. So to the point, if them sleeping together had more impact on the plot I hope they would be more forward in showing us they did indeed without a doubt “slept” together in the more “active” way. Not next to each other in the passive way.

But just for you, some “against” points:

Jemma had lots of tests when she got back, they would notice her carrying even the tiniest baby.

She would notice missing her period. Unless she got pregnant on the last day and it’s a really convenient timing (how long is she back already?) (on thee bad side of this point is that her time on the planet for sure affected her cycle so it would be hard to count and all.)

I bet she would check herself. Just to be sure. Because she knows there’s a possibility.

Getting pregnant is at the same time super easy (all the talks about protection we all know) and super hard. To not make it long (and I don’t know medical terms in English, sorry if I’m writing funny): - woman’s womb is making itself quite hostile to the baby in the very first part of pregnancy (I guess we can say it’s evolution thing, ensuring that baby is strong enough to survive, something like what butterflies do with shattering their cocoons to strengthen their wings). - Jemma was living in different oxygenation level and gravitation, which take a tool on her. She had malnutrition for sure (what value had this food they were eating?). - NO SUN on the planet. Lack of sun means lack of D3 vitamin. I don’t know if that’s a worldwide thing but where I live D3 vitamin is the first thing every pregnant or trying woman takes, because it’s necessary for their health. So if Jemma got pregnant, would she be able to carry her baby in this conditions?

I don’t think Jemma would risk it. Maybe she wasn’t thinking but she is usually very rational and careful and excels at preparation. So would she really do something that could result in pregnancy just after she lost all hope and recognised she’s stuck in “hell”? I mean there are alternatives to keep them satisfied and not risk it… And it’s not like she was able to calculate when they can when she has no idea how much time passed (dead phone, no clock, no sun)

This would be beyond stupid plot twist. Apart from logic, this is a risky route to take when writers already angered fans a lot with the Space Boyfriend and they were worried of our reaction, now they would add a child? Plus, I think Liz would hint something. She wouldn’t be all “it would get worse for Fitzsimmons and then would get better” if there would still be such a plot twist waiting.

So I really hope they won’t go for it. Please canon, don’t hit me in the face again…

I love full eyelids of one bright colour. What products and techniques would you recommend? xx

I think the Wet n’ Wild bright eyeshadows are totally good and they’re really inexpensive! This is one of my favorite palettes from the drugstore and it’s $5. Totally worth it. You can just plop your color on your eyes and diffuse the edges with a domed brush. I like using the eye brush in this Real Technique set (3 brushes for $19.99!!!) for all blending. I did a roundup of my favorite drugstore brushes right here.

When I do just one color on my lids, I still can’t help but use a gradient of that single color — a darker hue at the outer corner, a lighter shade near my inner corners. It just brings some dimension to my eyes which are more on the flat side because I’m Asian. Here’s a video on different shadow techniques you can utilize.
