ugggggggh, that’s bogus. i’m p. sure my mom’s just accepted that i’m going to have clothes on my floor at this point
My mom will never accept that. She demands order from everyone and everywhere she steps foot in. She even told me that she's just as busy as me and takes time to clean her room.
Here's the problem with that: I have an office, a library, and a bedroom all in one. She has a library and an office separate from her bedroom. Of course it's going to look cleaner because her schoolwork is not strewn everywhere along with dirty clothes.
Also: She is not gone all day night. She's getting her degree as well, but she takes online classes and has the availability to be at home most of the time. From the time I wake up until the time I sleep on weekdays, I'm either in class, reading for classes, or in rehearsal for the show I'm stage managing. It's simply bullshit right now to expect me to clean up my room an hour daily when 1) I'm not home, and 2) I have more important things to do than clean my room.
She's just scared that my room will attract bugs and rats (which I guess I can understand). But it's still frustrating.
