You wouldn't happen to have any ideas on how to help alters find things they enjoy, would you? It's now 3 of us that are feeling "lost" due to not having any likes or dislikes, feeling like they don't really have an identity. One of them can't even choose a favorite color, which when the rest of us have that, leaves him feeling indistinct from the others. Unfortunately, our system defines alters with their likes, dislikes, and personality, and it's worked really well so far! Until now :(
(I apologize for the rambling, being schizospec makes being concise very difficult)

Hey, no worries about your wording, we don’t mind getting asks that ramble and we tend to ramble ourselves here lol.
Our best advice here is to encourage your headmates to explore and try all sorts of new things. Seriously that’s what anything that we could say here will boil down to. It’s okay if it takes them a while to find things that they enjoy, but that’s not going to happen at all if they’re never putting themselves out there and experimenting.
We have a post actually that includes some ideas for headmates aiming to solidify a unique, distinct identity for themselves. Maybe this could help y’all?
Discovering identity and individuality as a member of a system As headmates, it can often be challenging for many of us to understand who w
Yeah this post ^ probably covers everything that we could think of to talk about here, so we hope y’all can take a look at it. Hope this helps!
P.S. about the favorite color specifically… maybe that alter could choose “rainbow” or “clear” as a favorite color. I’m the host of my sys and I don’t have a favorite color… I tend to just say “I like all colors” or pick one randomly whenever I’m asked lol. If the rest of your alters do have favorite colors, this one not having a favorite could potentially be something that makes him distinct from the rest.
