A butt load of Alter Wrath(2003) Au asks answered. Because they’ve been sitting in my ask box for like a month and I feel bad that I haven’t answered them and I didn’t want to spam the blog by posting them individually.

I feel like at first when Rudi is still on the streets he doesn’t really care and would accept any half-assed answers Alphonse and Edward give him. But once he starts staying there for a bit he catches conversations about alchemy and Artmertis. I don’t think he would react to over the top about it but would be very sceptical about it all.

Yessss. Alphonse would also hold Rudi back if he is right there though. But I like to image it would go like that scene in Lilo and stitch 2 where Lilo is about to beat on Myrtle but Stitch is holding her back but then Myrtle goes too far and Stitch just let's go like shit dude she deserves to get a beating.

It probably happens enough that Rudi just kinda lets it be because Alphonse looks visibly upset whenever he messes up and Rudi doesn’t want to make him more upset by asking about it.

Alphonse would be kinda disappointed that Rudi got into yet another fight but it pains him to see Rudi Visibly hurt in any way it’s too much like what happened to Wrath. Like, imagine if Rudi got like a split lip and had blood going down his chin and how much that would fuck Alphonse up.

These next two kinda have to be done in order

I also feel like the owner took them in before Rudi ended up on the streets and slightly before the mafia really starts getting serious in the town. Because I think that when Rudi started living on the streets is when Samson took an interest in him and the owner of the inn really doesn’t want anything to do with the mafia so he doesn’t take on Rudi like he did Fletcher and Russel. Because he’s seen Rudi around people like Samson even though he has nothing to do with him. But the two let him stay some days, It’s how he stays clean and where he would stay if he got sick at any point before Al and Ed came to town.

I think Rudi might have a slight idea about reading he wasn’t that young when his family left. But he would definitely struggle with it. I like to imagine that maybe he went to Edward first as a surprise for Al but they argued too much when Ed taught him that Alphonse eventually found out and took over

Yeah, I could see them having a little study group that's adorable.

ALSO, a little thing from me but honestly ya’ll decide how you have them ending up but I like to imagine if Al and Ed never end up going back to their Universe that Al becomes a professor at a University and Rudi eventually runs a small hometown restaurant (based on that headcanon that Rudi learns to cook). That helps homeless people. And because I have been a captain on the SS Alwrath ship since the dawn of time they are obvi together at that point

That’s like good ending in their universe unlocked.

A while ago someone asked me who I thought Greed would be in this au and i think that he’d be a crime boss who keeps trying to recruit Wraths alter character, Rudi. But Rudi was having none of it until Alphonse birthday came along. Because he wanted to get him a really good gift but he has no money so he takes the job. Up to you to say what happens next though.

So about your alternate universe 2003 wrath, does Al ever meet up with him again? If so. Do they become friends?

Definitely, after Al sees Alter Wrath for the first time. Edward pulls him away before anything can happen. ( Because Al is probably having a panic attack at that point.) Alphonse has to work through this when he sees Alter Wrath the next few times they meet. But over time he does work up the courage to talk to Alter Wrath and they become friends eventually.
