Doc and Marty from Back to the Future are in fact, an actual alternate dimension. The movie series actually happened, although C-137 Rick has no idea how it became a movie. Morty got to meet Marty in person once during a meeting of the Ricks, they liked swapping tales of their adventures. Also, The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti was an animated parody made by another Rick in another dimension who hates Doc and Marty.
