CANON DIVERGENT ALTERNATES
i. glenn doesn’t get killed but he does get hit before daryl jumps up and attacks negan, leading daryl to being taken and the immediate rush to hilltop to be cared for along with maggie. under urgent care to save his life, both maggie and glenn are tended to. all he could do was call for her as the doctor multi-tasked with help in saving both their lives. while he did survive, he’s been asleep for so long that maggie’s been worried , he might not make it and animate. thankfully, he wakes but he’s still out of it. his heads been crushed in on the left side, he can only see through one eye, and he has memory loss so when he sees himself ? his cries are muffled at his disfigured face.
ii. instead of daryl being taken for another alt, glenn is taken as collateral. maggie is taken to hilltop for urgent care but all she can think about is glenn. with rick helping her think straight, sasha takes her to hilltop. glenn is strong, we’ll get him back, we will.
iii. glenn not getting hit or taken, rushes to hilltop with maggie and makes sure she’s okay. he doesn’t leave her side, not even when hilltop was being invaded. he helps jesus on the ground kill walkers as maggie crushes the car.
