I was thinking about my stories taking place in 2018 or 2019, and how they would change if they happened this year!! The Karl&Mikhail story has a super dramatic spring 2019 and both the main characters are going through some crises, and if they had to be stuck at home by themselves, they obviously wouldn’t be experiencing any of that. Karl would have a good break of everything, though, he’d be fine for a while. Mikhail probably has to go back to Russia to his family, and he’d be okay too. Neither of them would grow as a person as if they would around each other and the story would be super lame lol

This happy guy is Floyd, here he is in his early twenties around 2013, but the story starts with a scene in 2018 or 2019 when he obviously tries to kill himself. If it happened this spring, though, the events leading to the suicide attempt would be different: in 2018/2019 he calls his brother and goes to see him as a last resort, but in 2020 he wouldn’t do that, his brother has a family and a pregnant wife and all and he doesn’t want to put them at risk. He might call his brother but that’s all. He jumps from a building.

This feels really grim even though it’s just a fictional story of mine, but I know there are many people suffering from the isolation and loneliness and the times are really tough. Stay safe people.
