YOUNG LOVE
Young Love é uma banda norte-americana de rock/alternative-dance/eletrônica formada em 2005 em Nova York. Dan Keyes lida com a maioria da produção e composição, além de fornecer os vocais.
Antes de criar Young Love, Dan Keyes cantava em uma banda chamada Recover, com a ajuda de Rory Phillips, em Austin, Texas.
Depois de lançar três álbuns com o quarteto, Keyes sentiu a necessidade de mudança, mas o trabalho continuou com Phillips. Um amigo ofereceu-lhe um lugar para ficar em Nova York, e dentro de semanas Keyes estava viajando de Austin para Nova York com apenas uma mala e seu violão.
No final de 2005, a Island Records assinou com o músico, onde depois a banda ficou conhecida como Young Love.
Em 21 de Novembro de 2006, a banda lançou seu primeiro EP pelo iTunes, onde tinha como single a música "Discotech".
Em 30 de Janeiro de 2007 lançaram oficialmente seu primeiro álbum, Too Young To Fight It, onde a Billboard descreveu o álbum como o tipo de pop que estavam em falta: "melódico, cativante, inteligente e, como jovens no amor, com o 'ela' onipresente".
O primeiro single deste álbum chama-se "Find A New Way", e o vídeoclipe oficial foi lançado no dia 3 de Janeiro de 2007 (vídeo oficial), pela direção de Josh Mond. Existe também uma versão alternativa de "Find A New Way", com a modelo Kemp Muhl e dirigido pelo fotógrafo de moda Terry Richardson (vídeo alternativo).
O segundo single deste álbum é "Too Young To Fight It".
Outra ótima faixa para escutar deste primeiro álbum é "Close Your Eyes" (que foi destaque em um dos episódios do seriado Scrubs).
Em Fevereiro de 2007, a banda iniciou uma turnê, tocando com várias bandas diferentes, incluindo Foreign Islands, Lady Sov e Good Charlotte.
Em 29 de Abril de 2007, a banda assinou contrato com a Konspiracy Theory Music para melhor promoverem a si mesmos.
O segundo álbum da banda, One Of Us, saiu recentemente em Abril de 2009, onde tem ótimas faixas como "Unafraid", "One To Ten" e "The Picture".

Young Love is an American rock/alternative-dance/electronic band formed in 2005 in New York. Dan Keyes handles the majority of the production and songwriting in addition to providing lead vocals.
Prior to creating Young Love, Dan Keyes sang in a band called Recover, with the help of Rory Phillips, in Austin, Texas.
After releasing three albums with the quartet, Keyes felt the need for change, but continued work with Phillips. A friend offered him a place to stay in New York, and within weeks Keyes was traveling from Austin to New York with just one bag and his guitar.
At the end of 2005, Island Records signed the musician, after which the band was known as Young Love.
On November 21, 2006, the band released their first EP through iTunes, where I had the song as a single "Discotech".
On January 30, 2007 officially launched their first album, Too Young To Fight It, where the Billboard described the album as a kind of pop that were missing: "melodic, catchy, smart and, like a young in love, with the 'she' ubiquitous".
The first single from the album is called "Find A New Way", and the official music video was released on January 3, 2007 (official video), by direction of Josh Mond. There is also an alternative version of "Find A New Way", with the model Kemp Muhl and directed by fashion photographer Terry Richardson (alternative video).
