For the anon who deadnames their friemds to their parents: it's okay, truly. People who are unsupportive of trans people like you say your parents are just aren't safe to be out to. I can't come out to my partner's parents because that'd force my partner's sexuality into question (we look like a straight couple to the unassuming eye) and their safety comes first. My name is a nickname as far as my partner's parents know, and it stays that way until we know safe to come out to them.
