Alluring your mind with shadowy tones of chill-wave r&b, blues, soul and pop —
Jordan Fiction transcends his star element to the globe through violet-tinted floetry, light / airy vocal play and mesmerizing narratives about late-night strolls, candid memories, falling in (and out) of love and afterparty antics.
*As said by Jordan himself, he is literally the fusion of Frank Ocean and The Weeknd (if they were to have a child)*
An orbit in physical form, Jordan Fiction gravitated towards the music scene after playing Guitar Hero “ I actually gained a fascination with playing real guitar shortly after as funny as that seems.” Jordan says “I mixed my new love for rock and heavy metal, with my mother’s side of R&B and hip hop that she would play throughout my childhood”
After playing guitar for a year, Jordan eventually started singing, and teaching himself the drums and piano. Then in high school, everything changed drastically when he discovered Odd Future (who Jordan admires for their movement and experimentation of sound) “They heavily inspired me to start rapping.” Jordan goes on to say “I released two rap tapes, Moose, and Semesters EP, before I transitioned into singing seriously and making a spot for myself in the R&B genre;
I find singing to be the easiest way for me to communicate with people. I also love using my voice the same way I would solo on a guitar.”
Music has a way of either drawing one in or pulling them out but in Jordan Fiction’s case he hopes that his fans don’t go astray, “Before anything else, I want my audience to have fun. The best way I know how to entertain someone is to give them something that makes them feel special, and takes them somewhere new. This is exactly what I aim for in my records” says Jordan “All of my songs function as one big adventure into a world I’ve created in my head. Everything feels very one-on-one with the listener and myself. My lyrics often deal with love, sex, drugs, and self confidence. The production is moody and heavy. It all comes together and becomes a more atmospheric, introspective, after-the-party type of R&B.”
Jordan says that music (to him) is all about creating an experience. “I make my songs with the intention of people getting lost in it, and feeling like they are a part of the unfolding story.” he goes on to say “Creating a distinctive sound is important to me because when my audience feels like they know me well, they will trust me enough to let me draw them in and take them on a journey through the song or album”
Comparatively Jordan Fiction’s vision is inspired by imperial soul kings such as: Frank Ocean, The Weeknd and Prince but the list doesn’t stop there. “Tim Burton is a huge inspiration of mine because of the worlds he creates.” Jordan says “I always think of the feeling I get from watching Nightmare Before Christmas or Corpse Bride while I create my own music and I want it to be as vivid as Tim Burton’s universe.”
In other words, Jordan further explains that he attributes a lot of his vocal approach to Frank Ocean and Prince because he likes to ‘fluctuate between a deep, strong baritone voice, to light, falsetto melodies.’
Off the record, Jordan also implies that Sia is also a large influence on his ‘powerful, yet vulnerable singing style’
“My dark, dreamy, synth-driven instrumental style is largely based on that of The Weeknd, Beach House, and Travis Scott”
All things considered though, in the next 5 years Mr Fiction will be:
1. Working on his 5th or 6th album,
2. Collaborating with the likes of Travis Scott, Charlie Puth, and Sia
3. Gearing up for his second European tour.
Generally speaking Jordan Fiction adds the perfect blend of eclectic tales with richly textured R&B to appease (and challenge) the minds of newcomer’s and oldcomer’s.
He creates a timeless sound that can only be tracked through the confines of age and artistic emersion.

Jordan will be releasing an album called “The Clubhouse.” which earned its title because to Jordan this is the place where the listener and himself will spend the most time together. “It’s melodramatic love story.” Jordan says “So far I’m most excited for the sexy, dark mood it sets.”
Jordan also has been releasing a single on the 13th day of every month up (but this won’t last long, it is only until his album release)
Jordan has also recently released Night Is Young (the most rock influenced song on the album) and also Altma.Clbhs.
